actor Andrew Garfield - Gordon & French ltd

Peter Parker in the whole re-boot of the Spider-man franchise, and it is actor Andrew Garfield.

Andrew who? Exactly! So, we too jumped on Google to see what he is all about. Here is what we know so far. Andrew (26) and born in Los Angeles, is not all that known here in America, perhaps because he moved to England at the age of 4 – Yes, girls, he speaks with a British accent. And in recent years, he has been starring in a British TV crime drama series “Red Riding,” and UK’s channel 4 drama “Boy A” which gave him more attention, and then appearing in movies like “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” and Robert Redford’s “Lions For Lambs” worldwide. Didn’t see these movies either? Neither did we. But now we all have good reasons to “research.”

The director to steer the new Spider-man movie is Mark Webb, known for last summer’s  “(500) Days of Summer,”  and he told People.com that, “Though (Garfield’s) name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker.”
This time the story will take Parker back into his high school and will focus on, “A teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises;” all according to Sony.Filming starts later this year for a July 3, 2012 release.
