Twi-hards got box office power. Reports showing Twilight Saga: Eclipse leads the pack with record-breaking sales for a Wednesday opening at $68.5 milion, plus another $24 million on Thursday and is now estimated to bite another $28.6 million out of the box office on Friday, Eclipse reaching over $121 million, is on its way to hit the $200 million as it is heading for the 6th day of its opening. Reviews-whatever! The Last Airbender, directed by M. Night Shymalan, is believed to stand strong at #2 in its debut weekend. A $16 million in sales on its opening, Friday, then it’s on to Saturday night, plus 5-day holiday weekend gross estimated at a total of $70 million.
Toy Story 3 surely to go over $300 million by the end of this weekend. This means, it will surpass Pixar’s own Finding Nemo (2003) which topped $339 million.
