Phillippe compares the break up to suffering a trauma but he likes to use the lessons in the future in case he will marry again. “My aim is always to progress – to make better decisions and be a better father, a better boyfriend, a better husband if it happens again,” says the very eligible bachelor.  The 36 year-young actor also opens up about aging…., god as if he has anything to worry about, telling the magazine: “I thought the most experience you had, the more certain you would be about life. But I’m finding the opposite, man. I’m more in wonder and confusion than I was in my 20s.”

On working with Will Forte and Kristin Wiig on “MacGruber,” plus his apperance on SNL this weekend, Phillippe says: “I tend to internalize and analyze, but with them, there’s none of that. There was no edit, no judgment. I was just a really free atmosphere.”

Exactly, dude!  Take a couple of notes from the Forte & Wig playbook externalize and go

On his mentor, Clint Eastwood: “He’s in the latter part of his experience on the planet, and he’s still growing. He’s open to new ideas and he’s changing the way he sees things. It’s something I want to encourage in myself: Don’t close off.”
