Hollywood steps out to support a globally green approach

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr did their part in promoting a globally green approach tonight, June 04, 2011 in Santa Monica, CA.
Mark Ruffalo received the Entertainment Industry Environmental Leadership Award during Global Green’s 15th Millennium Awards ceremony, held at Fairmont Miramar Hotel. The ceremony also honored actor / environmental activist Ed Begley Jr. and Wendy Schmidt, president of the Schmidt Family Foundation and the wife of Google’s Eric Schmidt, for their ecological contributions.
Global Green USA is the only national environmental non-profit headquartered in Southern California with offices in New Orleans, Washington DC, and New York, and is one of over 31 national GCI affiliates throughout the world. The mission of Global Green is to address some of the greatest challenges facing humanity, today.
