Matthew Morrison performs live at The Grove

Glee’s Matthew Morrison took the stage over the weekend at The Grove in Los Angeles, for a solo concert giving fans a real (and free) treat by performing his new song “My Name“.  In addition to performing tunes from his upcoming debut album, the ‘Glee’ star who plays Mr. Schuester on the hit FOX TV show, also covered “sway” by Michael Buble and, the classic show tune  “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

“I want people to know the real me…that’s why I came out with a solo album.” Said Morrison of his debut album which will be released later this year.

He once described his music as a “dance heavy” cross between Michael Buble and Justin Timberlake. Matthew even gets a duet with none other than Sir Elton John.

Now, if Madonna unleashes her allegedly new tour, with the cast of ‘Glee,’ it wouldn’t be so bad if we all get a Madonna and Morrison duet out of it. We’re just sayin’

Would you want to see this musical M&M do a new song together?
