Charlize Theron to join Ridley Scott’s ‘Alien’ prequel, “Prometheus”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Charlize Theron is in finalizing talks to join “Prometheus,” the Ridley Scott project which until recently was simply called the “Alien” prequel. The film is slated for a June 8, 2012 release. Details about what to expect in this film have been very little so far. Theron will be seen starring opposite Noomi Rapace, (of the American remake of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,”) and Michael Fassbender. The actress just wrapped shooting “Young Adult” for director Jason Reitman.
