Check out this 300lb life-size Stormtrooper cake. The 6’4 galactic gateau was created for a Star Wars convention and fed more than 600 hungry sci-fi fanatics. Baking couple Amanda and Tiler Oakleaf took two weeks to make the monster cake and used 208 eggs, 140lb of sugar and 55lb on marshmallows. Fans at the Arisia Sci-Fi Convention in Boston were treated to the edible Stormtrooper, which took Amanda, Tiler and their team two weeks to create.
The body was made from layers of sponge covered with icing, supported by an iron frame and the legs were made of Rice Krispies.
