Earlier scoop: Neil Patrick Harris to do GLEE –In an earlier report EW also reports Neil Patrick Harris (pictured below) is more likely working out a deal to appear in the May sweeps Glee episode; that’s if CBS allows its How I Met Your Mother hot shot to appear on Fox.
A good sign: since HIMYM and Glee are both produced by 20th Century Fox, there’s no conflict from that side. The scoop: Harris wants to do it, and Glee creator Ryan Murphy really wants him too. In fact it looks like Murphy is creating a role especially for the talented actor. And in true Glee tradition, the part includes a little song-’n’-dance. The gig would reunite Harris with his Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog director, Joss Whedon, and it would also reteam him with Zachary Woodlee, who choreographed the musical number in HIMYM’s recent 100th episode. We cant wait.
