Jonathan Lipnicki, the cute kid from that “Jerry Maguire,” is ready to get back into the movie biz.
Jonathan’s most famous line asking Tom Cruise’s character Jerry, “Do you know that the human head weighs eight pounds?” stole our hearts. Now 20, the young actor stopped by at Access Hollywood to talk about his upbringing in and out of Hollywood spotlight.
Thanks to his parents, Jonathan left the spotlight for a more normal life and took the time to “really just go to school,” he explains. “I went to public school — went to prom, did homecoming, everything,” Jonathan told Access “It’s great because now I can come back as a different person. I’ve learned a lot and I can come back and have kind of a new career.”
“I think a lot of people don’t know that I grew up,” Jonathan laughed. “They think I’m five! I was fortunate enough to work a lot after “Jerry Maguire.”
Now, Jonathan is coming back to the big screen with veteran actor James Caan in “For The Love Of Money.” The movie also stars another former child star: Edward Furlong of “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” fame. The movie is slated for a 2011 release.
