Actress, and soon-to-be-mom, Marion Cotillard is in talks to reunite with her “Inception” director Christopher Nolan for his final Batman film, “The Dark Knight Rises”, as reported by French paper La Figaro. Though her days on the set not strictly finalized, filming in London is scheduled for a Mid-June start, and then in New York where the film will wrap. In the meantime, Cottilard’s baby (with actor/director Guillaume Canet) is scheduled for a Spring arrival. The French actress will portray Thalia Al Ghul, the daughter of villain Ra’s al Ghul (Liam Neeson) from the “Batman Begins” movie.

Already cast as the mischivious Catwoman, is the beautiful Anne Hathaway. But for the other female role, occupying the romantic corner in the story, Nolan has been focusing on another kind of beautiful, that of  a non-American, (dare we say) older kind.  So far, the filmmaker has met with Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
“The Dark Knight Rises” is aiming for release in July 2012.
