Brit rocker’s fuzzy Monday memories are no subject for a book

Brit rocker, Shaun Ryder, mostly known as the lead singer of Happy Mondays has turned down an offer to write his life story, reports Contact Music. Why you ask? Ryder claims he was too strung up on drugs during his time with the band, and can’t remember anything.

“I’ve been asked to write my autobiography, but I’ve not been interested. I’ll do it in another 20 years’ time. The only problem was I never kept a diary, so I’m going to have to use all the remaining brain cells to remember the Mondays days.” Said Ryder.

If you like rock-n-roll stories such as how Ryder soaked oatmeal with liquid acid and fed it to the pigeons of Manchester (as seen in the movie “24 Hour party people”), then this maybe a book worth waiting for. But 20 years? We won’t hold our breath.
