Angie turns down WANTED 2

Angelina Jolie has turned down the offer to participate in part 2 of the action packed (we pray to be re-thought and franchised) Wanted movie; reports HollywoodNews.com.  Angie’s no-thank-you brings the studio into a halt on the entire project, without the option of perhaps re-imagining the second installment by focusing on James McAvoy. Director Timur Bekmambetov realizes the high level he catapulted the first movie on and making that lightning to strike twice is no doubt a tall order in Hollywood sequels, but co-creator Mark Millar had expressed that the scope of this film can be greatly increased. Plus, earlier this month Millar had indicated that scripting for Wanted 2 was nearly finished.  Jolie made a statement regarding the first Wanted film saying, “In the original, she doesn’t kill herself. I actually changed the ending. If she was to find out she had killed people unjustly and was a part of something that wasn’t fair, then she should take her own life.”  Fear not, the super Jolie will be seen in theaters in the summer starring in the action thriller “Salt” and then slated to star in the sci-fi thriller project “Gravity” by director Alfonso Cuaron.
