Instant theatre: Theatre Unleashed puts a 24-hour spin on The Beatles

“Can’t Buy Me Love” – The Beatles get an interesting stage treatment by Theatre Unleashed and Co.  In its unique ’24-hour theatre’ series, a group of writers will receive a specific topic, based on a song by The Beatles, the night before the actual night of a live performance, in this case on Friday evenning, for a live performance this Saturday Feb 5, 2010.  The writer (s) have just one night to write a short play, inspired by (or based on) the given topic.  The instant short will then be handed over to a director and actors who will get just that one day to prepare and produce a piece to be staged that very night. See the productions on  Saturday night, Feb 5, at 8:00PM at NoHo Stages, in N. Hollywood.  In addition, local comedians from TU’s Cheap ‘n’ Easy Series will be on hand for Stand-ups and a few laughs.
