Just because you don’t always see George Michael on U.S. TV sets, doesn’t mean the man is out of sight and out of mind – quite the opposite.

In March, George Michael released his cover of the New Order hit, “True Faith,” in support of UK’s Comic Relief charity, raising over £74,000,000 ($121,515,000).

A few weeks ago, the singer also released a special version of the Stevie Wonder classic “You and I,” as a wedding gift to Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Now this (drum roll please), the singer/songwriter returns with a brand new 2011 tour, strictly Europe so far, but we hope he announces a few north American dates for his loyal fans in the states – and get this, all accompanied with a full orchestra, behind him.

Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour delivers George Michael to over 15 countries across Europe, starting in August and stretching until December 2011.

The “Faith” singer will appear on some world famous stages such: O2 Arena in Berlin, Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, Palau San Jordi in Barcelona, and the legendary Royal Albert Hall, in London, to name a few.

Michael will perform a carefully selected list of hits spanning his 30-year career, along with favorite songs by other artists. The music is being re-arranged for the big orchestra sound, complimenting Michael’s equally big voice.
