Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin are CNN’s Sonny & Cher

Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper made it through another New Year’s Eve celebration on CNN. This has been the craziest pairing since Sonny and Cher and in its own ways it is working just like Sonny and Cher did.

Kathy had her wagging tongue under control during the live broadcast, but the thought of her slipping a few foul words at any minute was fun to anticipate. Kathy did get her way here and there. She danced to NKOTBSB. She even made references to Anderson Cooper’s genitals. She punched Anderson Cooper in the stomach (incessantly). As always, the A-lister posing as a “D-lister” did her magic yet again at making Anderson chuckle and loosen up, and we love it, when that happens.
