Celebrity Buzz: when you realize just how long Adam Levine, front man of Maroon 5 and coach on The Voice, has been on the scene, it is strange that it took this long for the world to notice. His looks and original “voice” of his own have barely changed through the years, yet women are finally catching on.
Levine, a Los Angeles native, began performing in a band called Kara’s Flowers. The band never really plateaued however, they did appear in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 (the original). This goes to show just how long Adam has been right in our faces.
After Kara’s flowers dismantled, Levine moved to New York and began writing. He reassembled a band we now know as Maroon 5 and though they have seen their fair share of success, still we did not take notice.
So, what was it? Was it the Voice? The UK ad that Levine stripped down naked to promote testicular cancer awareness? The Beckham-like tattoos and frame? Or could it be all of the above plus the fact that Levine is back on the scene.
Recently split from his girlfriend, this week’s trending Twitter hashtag was #dibsonAdam for all the single ladies of the world to stake their claim on the singer. It appears newly single Levine has started a bit of a female frenzy. Could he possibly be this year’s sexist man alive?
